Days of Support for Seniors
The Foundation visited for the first time the residence “Les Jardins de l’Aubade” where 40 seniors enjoyed a day full of surprises and recreation. The seniors were welcomed with a glass of sparking juice. They also enjoyed an activity about respect and love for oneself, Zumba, 3 musical shows, 1 dance show, and the Hormy Show. The Foundation gifted the seniors with a journal with the foundation’s logo and a day full of smiles. All thanks to Dr. Maria Luisa and the help of all the volunteers!
The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation celebrated for the 4th consecutive time, One Day for the Elder, in the retirement home situated in Cartierville, on November 2nd, 2019. The Foundation benefited 48 elders; 35 women and 13 men. It was a fun-filled day! It was a dayfilled with many activities like the play: Pinochio and the architects of hearts, the Hormy Show and different musical shows. We also thank the 24 volunteers who with great love helped this day happen!.
This past November 10th, the Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation held an Seniors Entertaining Event for the 2nd year at the Nursing home in Cartierville in Montreal. The Foundation benefited 42 seniors. The seniors were surprised with dances, musical presentations, stretching exercises, gifts and the presentation of the Hormy show. All those who attended were joyful and moved by the activities held on this wonderful day.
The past 21st of July, 2018, the Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation visited the Retirement Home in Cartierville in Montreal, where 43 seniors were benefited. They enjoyed a fun filled day where they received teachings in values, on being cordial and respecting others to live together in harmony and love, and that they are valuable beings. As well, the seniors enjoyed recreational activities, folkloric dances, a Mariachi singer who sang Mexican songs, and raffles. Each one of our benefited guests received as a gift a picture inside a picture frame allusively decorated with the theme of the event. It was a moving day and MLMIF thanks its 27 volunteers who provided their time and helped us to help.
