The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation celebrated for the 4th consecutive time, One Day for the Elder, in the retirement home situated in Cartierville, on November 2nd, 2019. The Foundation benefited 48 elders; 35 women and 13 men. It was a fun-filled day! It was a dayfilled with many activities like the play: Pinochio and the architects of hearts, the Hormy Show and different musical shows. We also thank the 24 volunteers who with great love helped this day happen!.

The Foundation celebrated for the 8 th consecutive year the event “One Day for Kids” at VanierCollege in the city of Montreal. This event benefited more than 440 children between the agesof 0 to 12 years old and this year’s theme was: A Healthy Lifestyle. The children enjoyed Zumba,a presentation given by dental assistant who taught children about dental hygiene, and a playthat taught values such as honesty, respect, loyalty, justice and love. Children were alsoprovided with reusable water bottles, school kits, dental care kits, books, snacks, and other gifts. Because helping is our job!
This past November 10th, the Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation held an Seniors Entertaining Event for the 2nd year at the Nursing home in Cartierville in Montreal. The Foundation benefited 42 seniors. The seniors were surprised with dances, musical presentations, stretching exercises, gifts and the presentation of the Hormy show. All those who attended were joyful and moved by the activities held on this wonderful day.
In Montreal, more than 250 children, in the company of their parents, enjoyed the celebration of A Day for Kids. This was a day full of teachings, which, through artistic presentations, playful activities, pedagogical and also the Hormy Show, sowed a seed of respect and love for others and themselves.a. All assistants participated with great enthusiasm and also enjoyed delicious snacks, school supplies and prizes sent by different sponsors. Thanks to all this, the children and their parents lived a very special day, not only for the activities and gifts, but also for the teachings they received. Because helping is our job!
One Day for kids was held in London, Ontario, Canada, during which more than 250 children enjoyed a day full of fun and activities with their parents that encouraged the importance of applying values to treat others, to respect themselves, the environment and society. In addition to the presentation of the Hormy Show, which spread to the public with joy, also at the event were delivered school kits and refreshments. The participants expressed their gratitude to the María Luisa de Moreno International Foundation for making this event, a day full of smiles and teachings that strengthen values and family unity.
The past 21st of July, 2018, the Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation visited the Retirement Home in Cartierville in Montreal, where 43 seniors were benefited. They enjoyed a fun filled day where they received teachings in values, on being cordial and respecting others to live together in harmony and love, and that they are valuable beings. As well, the seniors enjoyed recreational activities, folkloric dances, a Mariachi singer who sang Mexican songs, and raffles. Each one of our benefited guests received as a gift a picture inside a picture frame allusively decorated with the theme of the event. It was a moving day and MLMIF thanks its 27 volunteers who provided their time and helped us to help.
