ENTREPRENEURIAL AWAKENING
This programme represents an opportunity for individuals who wish to launch a business idea, enabling them to economically leverage their skills in a craft or trade to establish their own enterprise. Entrepreneurial Awakening has been a successful programme implemented throughout Colombia and in countries such as Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Panama, and Peru.
The programme’s objective is to help men and women discover their human, social, and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to design a business model grounded in human development, organisation, and innovation, to achieve their personal and family life goals.
ACTIVITIES
The activities carried out under the Entrepreneurial Awakening programme include practical workshops, experiential sessions, and seminars on topics such as life projects, human development, and business entrepreneurship.
Some noteworthy seminars include:
- Entrepreneurs of Value Seminar held in Bogotá, Cundinamarca, with participation from SENA, MINTIC, the Bogotá Economic Development Secretariat, Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca University, La Salle University, among others.
- Motivational Entrepreneurship Seminar in Armenia, Quindío.
- Digital Marketing Seminar in Popayán, Cauca.
The aid delivered through the Entrepreneurial Awakening programme includes a structured support model and benefits, organised via a training programme with sessions focused on:

- Tax Education
- Seminars
- Business Fairs
- Life Projects
- Human Development
Achievements of the programme
Among the achievements of the Entrepreneurial Awakening Programme is the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the agreement with the University of La Salle, developed to establish bases for academic, educational, technological, technical, and cultural cooperation between the University and the Foundation. Thanks to this agreement, spaces were created for students from the Faculty of Administrative and Accounting Sciences at the University to conduct practical activities, becoming trainers for topics in the Entrepreneurial Awakening and Productive Awakening programmes in Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
The University of La Salle awarded a special recognition to Dr. María Luisa Piraquive for her invaluable work in fostering entrepreneurship in Bogotá and its surrounding municipalities. This recognition was presented during the closing ceremony for 961 entrepreneurs from the Entrepreneurial Awakening and Productive Awakening programmes, belonging to groups from Bogotá and Cundinamarca.
