Vision
The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation will remain a global organization, recognized and established through interventions that continue to transcend borders, strengthening human, social, professional, and productive skills. It will continue to build trust and credibility, grounded in co-responsibility, transparency, effectiveness, and solidarity.”
It is a non-profit organisation with over 20 years of experience, benefiting vulnerable communities through the implementation of human development programmes with social intervention models that aim to transform lives.
Its social work is carried out through three strategic lines focused on education, humanitarian aid, social well-being, entrepreneurship, and productivity. Its efforts have been replicated by similar foundations and social organisations in countries such as Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, England, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Switzerland. Work has also been carried out in other countries such as Bolivia. From England and Switzerland, the Foundation managed significant aid to benefit vulnerable communities in Cameroon, Africa, as well as for the cities of Bangalore in India and Shanghai in China.
Solidarity is the voluntary conduct of cooperating to help and relieve individuals or communities in states of defencelessness or vulnerability.
Justice and equity involve giving everyone what they deserve or is rightfully theirs, for the benefit of individuals and society.
Tolerance is recognising and accepting differences among individuals and communities, consistent with respect for others, society, and the environment.
Respect is self-recognition and acknowledgment of others as unique individuals, valuing the integrity and interests of oneself, others, the environment, and the general surroundings.
Responsibility involves personal and/or collective awareness to value and face the consequences of actions or omissions that impact one’s own life, others’ lives, and the environment.
Honesty characterises individuals by the integrity of their actions. It is the quality that ensures people act and live consistently with what they think, feel, say, and do, in accordance with moral principles.
Commitment is the quality of going beyond mere duty, transcending norms for the better, being loyal in interactions, and effectively fulfilling responsibilities.
Service is the spontaneous provision of assistance, prioritising collective interests and needs over individual ones.
